Content Moderation Policy
Last updated: May 28, 2026
Gold & XP includes user-generated content such as public campaign pages, blogs, groups, comments, direct messages, profiles, images, and AI-assisted content. This policy explains how users can report concerns and how moderation decisions are handled.
1. Reporting content and users
Use the in-app Report action where it appears on public content, comments, profiles, groups, messages, or campaign material. If a report button is not available, contact us at support@goldandxp.com with the URL, usernames involved, and a short description of the issue.
2. Blocking and user controls
Users may block other users where blocking tools are available. Blocking can limit direct contact and visibility in messaging or profile-related interactions. Campaign owners, group admins, and DMs may also remove members, manage invites, moderate campaign spaces, and set table-specific controls for their communities.
3. Review process
- Reports are reviewed by site moderators or administrators.
- We may review reported content, related account activity, and limited surrounding context needed to understand the report.
- We prioritize urgent safety issues, illegal content, sexual content involving minors, threats, harassment, and privacy violations.
- We may not disclose every action taken, especially when doing so would affect another user's privacy or safety.
4. Possible actions
Depending on severity and history, we may take one or more actions:
- Dismiss a report when content does not violate our policies.
- Remove, hide, or limit distribution of content.
- Warn a user or require changes before continued posting.
- Restrict public posting, messaging, groups, or AI features.
- Suspend or terminate an account.
- Preserve or disclose information when legally required or necessary for safety.
5. Direct messages and private areas
Direct messages and private campaign spaces are not public, but they may still be reported. We may review reported private content and related context when necessary to investigate abuse, enforce our policies, comply with law, or protect users.
6. Appeals
If you believe a moderation action was made in error, email support@goldandxp.com with your username, the action you are appealing, and any relevant context. Appeals are reviewed for policy fit, user safety, and account history.
